Led Zeppelin

Led Zeppelin adalah kelompok musik rock dari Inggris yang dibentuk bulan September 1968, dan dibubarkan setelah pemain drum John Bonham meninggal. Led Zeppelin terdiri dari Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones, dan John Bonham. Dengan musiknya yang menonjolkan suara gitar yang keras dan berat, Led Zeppelin dianggap sebagai salah satu band heavy metal yang pertama. Sebagian besar lagu-lagu mereka merupakan interpretasi musik blues dan folk yang diberi nuansa rock, termasuk rockabilly, reggae, soul, funk, jazz, musik klasik, musik Kelt, musik India, musik Arab, musik pop, musik Amerika Latin, dan musik country.

Led Zeppelin tidak pernah merilis singel dari lagu-lagunya yang menjadi populer di Britania Raya. Alasannya, mereka lebih menyukai konsep musik rock berorientasi album

Setelah 25 tahun bubar akibat meninggalnya John Bonham pada tahun 1980, Led Zeppelin tetap disanjung penggemar musik berkat pencapaian artistik, kesuksesan komersial, dan pengaruhnya yang luas di kalangan musisi rock. Hingga saat ini, album Led Zeppelin telah laku lebih dari 300 juta keping, di antaranya, 109,5 juta keping laku di Amerika Serikat, dan menjadi satu-satunya grup musik yang berhasil menempatkan semua albumnya ke dalam urutan Top 10 tangga album Billboard. Selain itu, Led Zeppelin menempati urutan nomor satu dalam Daftar 100 Artis Hard Rock Terbesar (100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock) versi VH1.

Pada 10 Desember 2007, tiga orang anggota Led Zeppelin mengadakan konser reuni yang dipersembahkan untuk Ahmet Ertegün di The O₂, London.
